Double the Refugee Quota talk in Christchurch

234 Hereford St
Cardboard Cathedral
07:00 pm

Announcing a nationwide tour for #DoubleTheQuota. Starting February 22nd, we’ll be traveling around New Zealand to speak about how you can help us to double the refugee quota. We’ll be discussing the government’s review process, what a range of activist groups are doing, going over the plans for Doing Our Bit’s campaign and distributing the ‘how can I help? booklet. It’d be lovely to see you and your community.

NOTE: On Saturday March 12 Murdoch will also be speaking at the Physics Room about Giorgio Agamben’s concept of ‘bare life’, the refugee crisis and how that came together in a collaboration with Wellington artist Shannon Te Ao for his 2014 Sydney Biennale show.
