Back when leg warmers weren’t retro and drum and bass were just two instruments in the band, the team at RDU gave a collective grunt and push and birthed RDUnited – an independent radio movement comprising of RDU listeners, fans and anti societal misfits! They planned to take over the world, but apathy and a lack of funds soon determined that making the flat lands of Christchurch a more fun place to live would be challenge enough!
So, what’s RDUnited?
RDUnited is the sticky glue that joins the disparate demographic of RDU listeners together. We have thousands of members, making it one of the most significant alliances in Christchurch.
What will my RDUnited Card get me?
A card in handy-key ring format which entitles you to a truck load of benefits all year round, including all the best discounts at all the best stores, eateries and bars left in Christchurch City. You’ll also get emails telling you what’s happening at RDU and what benefits there are for RDUnited members. 
And perhaps best of all, by being an RDUnited card holder, you’re eligible to win prizes on air! Our superstar DJ’s will fall over themselves to see you engorged with free treats. So tune in to 98.5FM and load 021 RDU 985 into your speed dial.
How do I join up?
To become a member, just turn up at the RDUnit and fill in a few details (it’ll cost you a meagre $20) or email us at info@rdu.org.nz
