Invading the Botanic Gardens for your terrestrial enjoyment this summer… it’s the RDUFO. This
design icon, teleported straight from the 1960s, spawned cult affection
worldwide when it was made and will do so again in Christchurch this
summer.
The RDUFO will be the epicentre for RDU hosted
communal gatherings from 1-4pm most Saturdays from the 16th of December
through ‘til the end of February 2007.
The RDUFO will play
host to some of Christchurch’s finest DJs and show hosts from the
RDU98.5FM stable. Life-forms of all ages will be able to enjoy the
other-worldly sounds of the black disc spun at a hypnotic 33
revolutions per minute.
Plug in to www.rdu.org.nz, or tune in
to the RDU gig guide each day at 8.45am, 11.45am, 3.45pm and 6.45pm for
further information and programme updates. And keep your radar primed
for RDU broadcasting live from the mothership itself.
