RDU has plenty of reasons to stay indoors in July while
we wait for the snow glorious snow.
While the ice blasts through , RDUnited members can huddle together by winning some great stuff... And it doesnt stop there....heard of The Shins?
The Shins Short Story Competition. Indie pop favourites, The Shins are coming to
Christchurch and RDU is giving you and four friends the chance to go. To win,
all you need to do is submit a short story featuring the words "RDU, The
Shins, and one of the following two lyrics either 'The gutter may profess its
love, Then follow it with hesitation', or 'So keep your wick in the air and
your feet in the fetters'.
The story has to be a maximum of 200 words and the winner
will and have their short story semi professionally produced in the RDU studio. Submit your short stories by email to hat@rdu.org.nz or drop them off at the RDU
office. Entries close July 4th and the winner will be announced during RDU
mornings on the July 6th. And if you dont win, venture down to Ticketek or Real
Groovy right now.

Teahouse in Poplar Lane at the end of July.
